About Me

    Hi! I am Tamara. Owner, Baker and Decorator of Sassy Sweets By Tamara. I am an at Home Baker in Alvarado,TX. I have been baking as far back as I can remember. My mom bought my first baking equipment, it was a Mini-Bake-It kit from Tupperware. I spent hours in the kitchen with my mom and grandma baking every holiday. Occasionally on days after school I would be in the kitchen with my Grandma making her famous Chocolate Cake made with mayonnaise for after dinner to satisfy that sweet tooth. When she first showed me that recipe I thought ewww gross (LOL), but It it was the most delicious cake ever. I love all of the recipes passed down to me and also Love coming up with my own delicious flavors. 

    

   As a mom of 2, I love to see my kids eyes light up when I make them their awesome Birthday Cakes. For years I have been baking for Family and Friends and with a little push and support from my Husband. I decided that this is going to be my full time job. Well I wouldn’t call something I LOVE SO MUCH a job.
 
   It’s an amazing feeling seeing all my clients so happy and thrilled about what I have designed for them.  I bake to share my love for baking. I have made many Simple just cuz cakes..... 
And have baked my heart out to make a Brides wedding cake and sweets table spectacular.
